Rest assured, you won’t need a torch to enjoy the cave paintings: the Font de Gaume cave and the National Prehistoric Museum are ready to welcome travellers from the modern world!

Fair ladies and gallant knights will no doubt prefer taking the road to Sarlat, not far from there. You might get some déjà vu wandering down the medieval streets and admiring the mansions and hotels. This town has been used as the setting for many historic films. Going through your holiday souvenirs, you might well come across the 3 Musketeers! And after having staged some unforgettable holiday memories, it’s time for a bite to eat!

In the heart of Black Perigord, we’re devoted to “the art of living well”! The truffles may steal the show, but it would be a shame to forget the ceps, girolles and morels. Among the other stars of gourmet cooking: the confits, particularly the unmissable goose confit with “sarladaise” potatoes!
